Ruger 220 Swift Deal

Heck I found two more that I want to buy but the guy wants a fortune for them. I would probably buy them if I thought they were a good deal. I also heard that rumor that they put a particularly good barrel form a different maker because they were 26 inch and Ruger did not make a 26 inch. Not sure if that is true but sounds cool.

Back when I got mine in 1975 the ONLY 26" barrel on any of the varmint M77 rifles were in .220 Swift. Bill Ruger knew that it took 26 inches of barrel to wring out the most of a Swift and that is what he had put on them. I also am pretty sure that Ruger in fact did not make their barrels in house back then, but whoever did make them for Ruger sure knew what they were doing.
