Here's more of the real truth about the Ruger. I'm unemployed after working 28 yrs at my job. They shut the business down, laid off all the employee's and moved the business to Kentucky. I have severance money and its going fast and my retirement won't kick in till 2016. I had already spent $1000.00 on a truck repair the Monday before the show. All my rifles are heavy barrels and I wanted a "Budget" rifle for this season yote calling. My friends Axis shot good, plenty good for the intended purpose. I looked at the gun show and there were no Axis/Edge rifles there but there was the Ruger. After all the hoopla I have read about the Ruger I thought I would give it a try. As luck would have it, if there is a lemon out there, I can usually find it. Now, I didn't want to go through the trouble of a new stock and whatever else required to get this rifle to shoot MOA which was all I was after in a "Budget" rifle. The Ruger just seemed to have more problems than I wanted to deal with at this time. Sorry if this sounds like I'm whining but money is money and its going pretty fast.
