Ruger American Rimfire - Which scope mount did you use?

All of you Ruger American rimfire owners ..... did you use 3/8" dovetail rings, or did you go with the Weaver #12 bases & rings? And what height rings did you use? I'm thinking medium height. Any and all info appreciated. Mine will be here in a few days and I want to get the mounts on the way.
 
I went with the #12 bases and this time I mounted a Mueller APV 4x14x40 AO on my RAR 17hmr and we will see how well it works out. I used Weaver Grandslam High rings and it gave me 3/16 clearance between Bell and Barrel.

On my RAR .22mag I mounted a Bushnell Banner 4x16x40 AO and love it!!

On my Savage 17hmr sports a Bushnell Banner 6x18x50 AO and has been a great scope.

My Savage .22mag has a Bushnell Banner 4x12x40 AO

And on my Sportster .22mag it has a 3x9x40 Mueller 4A sport dot

I used the Weaver #12 bases and Burris Signature Zee medium? rings. I use the Burris Signature Z rings for basically all my rifles.

THANKS! I was thinking mediums ... but I'm going with the high models. Just ordered some Weaver #12 bases and a set of Warne Maxima high rings.
