Ruger no.1?

Bigdog2, thes limitations are the reason I want one. However, not trying to toot my own horn here, I consider myself a very disciplined and deliberate shooter already. With the exception of a turkey that ran about 50yds with no head before I shot him again, I have been on a very long streak of one-shot kills.

TimZ-still no pic! not sure what the problem is, I never usually have trouble when one is sent. Sure appreciate you tryin' so hard though.

Pictures can not be hosted on PM. They need to be hosted somewhere on the web and a link placed here. I believe the current favorite place is photobucket.

ANDdo not link any pictures wider than 600 pixels to PM. Over 600 pixels causes the posts to be more than one screen wide for many members which makes reading posts a PITA.

I deeply love the Ruger #1 rifles for looks but would not sink that kind of money in one unless you are wanting to spend extra money building a custom rifle out of the action. Ruger rifles are a crap-shoot in regards to getting one that shoots well out of the box. Not trying to get anything started here, just my opinion and experience.

Actually Steve, my experiences with them are about the same. there seems to be some inconsistencies with certain models. I'm pretty sure that if it don't shoot well I'll know how to make it without having to pay much.
