A 475 Linebaugh would be cool. I have talked to John many times. Here is a pic of him. It has been my screeen saver for a long time now.......

That is actually a pretty nice looking setup you have there Shane.......

Yep, completely missed the Ruger...lol It's time for bed! (0230 here)

I hope to catch up to a deer next season with the 44 mag. Push the 2muchgun endorsed 270 Gr DeepCurls...

It also now wears a new Hogue grip. The ribbers got worn out after a few hundred rounds.

It's holding up well to the magnum recoil. And for $100, it's hard to say no too. I don't have too much experience with pistol scopes, but it seems nice to me. Once you figure out how to use them. That long eye relief takes some getting used to, as I'm sure on any EER scope. The relief doesn't seem "critical" or whatever term you want to use.

My primary deer hunting firearm; 9 1/2" Ruger Super Redhawk in .44mag with a 2-6x Bushnell scope.

My sidearm when I am carrying a rifle; 7 1/2" Ruger Super Blackhawk also chambered in .44mag.

Here is mine, Ruger 44 Mag 5.5"

44.jpg

I was hoping to use it on deer this season, but ran out of time in load development.....Next season.....

I carried a Ruger Super Redhawk in 44 Mag on several cryptozoological research trips in the PNW. I hunted Roosevelt Elk for a couple seasons in the 90's with a Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44 Mag using Garret hard cast bullets. Great guns.

Not any Rugers but these are my toys.
S&W 629 classic 44mag.

Next is a S&W model 327 trr8 in 357mag. I don't have the light and lazer on it any more. But It does hold 8 rounds of 357.

These are as big as I go and use these on Iowa deer. If I went more I would like to get a S&W 460. But I can't bring myself to drop $1500 on a pistol that only gets used a month a year.
