Ruger Predator or Tikka T3X in .223

I have a buddy that has a T3X in .223. He has a hand-load target that is a bug-hole, when he showed it to me I thought it was shot with his Stolle 6PPC. He laughed at me & said it was his varmint rifle (the Tikka).

First, I appreciate all the input.

I was all set to go the Tikka.
But after reading review after review of their bad CS I am going Ruger.
I have never had a bad experience with Ruger CS, in fact they have gone
above and beyond for me in the past.
They are made in America and my 6.5 Predator is a tack driver.

I have the Tikka T3X in 6.5 CM and My son has the Ruger predator in 6.5 CM I cannot tell the difference in group size with any given load. I love my Tikkas, but you can buy 2 Rugers for almost the same price.
FYI

Exactly. Then for another 100 bucks put a muzzle brake for a sweet shooting rig. Give your drt coyotes my deepest apologies for shooting them with the Ruger. Don't want to give them an inferiority complex.

That's my thinking after buying them for 14 years.
I have used Sako CS(same Company) and it was A+ and I have written about it here several times.
A company does not get to be over 500 years old with a family tree that's quite narrow by doing things wrong.
I currently know three Ruger owners that have used CS and still have problems with their Americans.
I have considered trying one several times but changed my mind.
I don't begrudge you for choosing what you want, but the jury easily chose different for a reason.
I see some guys choosing Tikka over the new Sauer 100, and that is another old company( maybe 267 years) that builds some very fine rifles. Two of which I have purchased.

Never shot or even held a Predator but I've got 2 Tikkas. A .243 Win. T3 Lite & a 7mm T3x Superlite & love them both! Awesome rifles right out of the box. I lowered the trigger pull on both - it's easy to adjust trigger screw & replace spring. From what I've read, you'll never need customer service on them
