I've handled one at my local gun shop. It's nice but not nearly as sweet as the S&W Model 63. I own a SP 101 in .357 and it's nice but again my S&W 640 is nicer. The grip on the SP101 .22 is so-so. I thought it was a bit too small personally. YMMV.
I have an older S&W M63 and it is an absolute honey. If I were in that "kit gun" market again and couldn't lay my hands on a nice older S&W M63 then the new Ruger would be getting a very serious look. I haven't seen one in person, but from all accounts I think they'll be nice little guns and very useful.
