ruger super redhawk in 7.5" or 9.5"???

Go with the 7 1/2" barrel like stated above.. Plenty of barrel and it is plenty of gun as well. I have the 7 1/2" barrel and love mine.. Shoots great too. Plus it is much easier to tote around and play with then the longer barrel would be..
 
It's not a Redhawk, but I have a Super Blackhawk Bisley Hunter. Initially I got it over the Redhawk because the grip felt much better in my hand. I would definitely go with the 7.5" barrel over the 9.5" in the Redhawk. You might even go with a 5.5" barrel which is the model of Redhawk I have in 357mag. Way easier to carry!
 
The fiber optic sights are great in the woods. Really picks up whatever light is available and makes the sight picture jump out at you. I don't remember what brand for sure but I think they were Hiviz.

Thanks, I'll have to give them a try, the black sights and my aging eyes aren't working out!
