s favorite mouth call

Haven't got alot of experience with different predator calls but I can get a pretty good kiyi on the Primos "little dog". I just bought a Primos "hot dog" for a howler, anxious to use it. I bought a Khight & Hale "heckl'n howler" that I'm going to return, I didn't care for the sound of it at all. I'm sure once I get into custom calls I'll notice a difference.

Right now it's my TC Custom Diaphragm with the ghost reed with the diamond cut. Second is my Dan Thompson cottontail.

I have several both production and custom and like most of them but my all time favorite is the criter call second is the quacker boy super screamer. Brad

I like the sound of my scheery calls but the reeds are shot. But rite now my flex tone dien rabbit has been getting fur.

Any one use Less Johnson's(Predator Quest) "Ruffy Dog" calls. They have a unique sound and appear to work well for him, just would like to hear others thoughts and results. Kind of pricey, but would be worth it if they work real well.

I have store bought plastic calls and I have hand made custom jobs from some of the best. For the difference in cost no doubt you can get the "best" from the custom call makers...many of them members here.

TC diaphragms, hands down! For distress or howling, they produce the most realistic sounds!!

Crit'r calls, Tweety, Tally-ho, Haydels, Lohman, & many custom calls have brought predators in for me over the years. They are all good calls, but the TC diaphragms consistently out perform them all by a large margin for me. I only wish I'd known about them sooner, when fur was still worth a little something.
