When I was Younger we were out one night Frog Gigging and we came up on an Electric Fence....thought I was smart and used the Gig to push down the strand of wire to cross?Trouble was the pole was made out of an Aluminum Tent Pole with the metal forked Gig at the end bolted on thru the pole....got a nice Jolt in the middle of the dark! Yikes!!!!

When I was a boy we were helping a neighbor set tobacco.He was an unconventional fellow.He had trouble keeping his bull in so he put 110 volts on his fence.He thought that was better.The fence had been off all day so when I went to cross it I just pushed it down with my hand.He had plugged it back up.I was wet to my knees and wet feet from wet grass.I thought I was killed for a minute.It was a hard hit.
