Sako A7 or a Tikka T3?

So I go into Sportsmans Warehouse today and I had decided to pick up a Stainless Tikka T3 in .243 so I can set it up as a light coyote rig. I get there and they have one in stock but I also notice that they have a Sako A7 in 243 and its on sale for 550 but it has a blued barrel instead of the stainless. So all things being equal, which one do you guys think is the better rifle? Which would you pick? Any input is appreciated, thanks !

Here is a good comparison review of Sakos and Tikkas:

For that price, I think I still would go with a stainless
Tikka over a blued Sako A7. From the review, the two
advantages I see are the metal feed lip mags, and the
integrated Weaver bases. I have Sakos/Tikkas, with both metal
and plastic mags. Neither have given me issues with reliable
feeding, so that is more of a mental issue for the buyer than
a real practical mechanical issue, IMHO. As for the
integrated Weaver bases, I have no issues with the Sako/Tikka
dovetail mounting, and although you probably can't go to
"Jack's Gun Shop" and buy rings, they are readily available
from a number of web vendors. The dovetail system is rock
solid, and insures good scope to bore alignment. Now if that
was a stainless A7, I would break my arm digging out the
wallet.

From my experience, accuracy will be a wash between the two.
The Sako does come with a 1 MOA guarantee, but I have yet
to shoot a Tikka that didn't end up there after load
development, or sorting through a few factory ammo offerings.

I had an A7 in .243. Very accurate with decent factory adjustable trigger. I bought it over the Tikka for the 3 lug bolt and steel feed lips in the mag (plus they had a free coat promo last fall). Very light and shot great. My only whine is the stock was pretty flimsy. If you hold it and have any twisting pressure with your hand on the forearm, it touches the barrel and effects accuracy. I took it out and completely free floated it and it made a world of difference. Might have just been my gun, but FYI. That said, I would definitely buy another.

Still wish I could have comeup with the funds to buy that whenyou had it for sale. Tikka also has a 1 MOA guarantee....

I have the stainless Tikka in .243 and have no issues and love the gun. I would take the Sako however if cost was the same.

I have a couple of A7s in 308 & 25-06 and T3s in 243 & 7mm-08, all stainess with synthetic stocks. The barrels and triggers are the same on both brands. Accuracy is equal between the brands. My 308 A7 and 243 T3 both shoot 1/2" or less 5 shot groups. Both brands will shoot WELL under 1" groups with handloads.

I like the A7 bolt and magazine better than the T3 but the T3 tupperware stock has cross sections in the forearm which the A7 doesn't and the T3 stock is more rigid.
