Sako vs Kimber

I'll be your Huckleberry. Do I qualify as a happy former Kimber of America owner?

IMHO, Steve Garett has the right idea. Take the money you were going to spend on a Kimber, use half of it to buy a Tikka and put the rest into a good scope for the Tikka.

Or buy a Sako..... It too will likely shoot with few problems.

Or....go one step higher on the food chain - get out of the factory production class of rifles and buy a semi-custom Cooper.

And in the rare event you have a problem, send it back to Cooper and they will make it right. I use a couple of good smiths for most of my rifle work, but the last thing I would do with a Cooper is send it to a smith who has probably never worked on one before. Not when the Cooper folks go as far as they do to make their customers happy.

Oh....Did I ever mention the Cooper barrel guarantee here... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif
