Savage 100/111/116 parts interchangeable?

i want to know if savage 110/111/116 parts are interchangeable with the savage stevens 200? i want to purchase the extractor/spring for my savage stevens 200 through Brownells

Yes they are. In fact the extractor can be changed with no tools as it just slides out. You will want to watch out tho as there is a detent ball and spring that will launch into places you haven't dreamed of if you're not careful. Even the various head sizes use the same extractor. Savage/Stevens rifles, particularly pre-Accutrigger are very user friendly and lend themselves to chambering/barrel changeover quite nicely.

When you begin to disassemble the bolt, doing it in a gallon sized ziplock bag with the middle of the opening taped so you can just get your hands in it will greatly reduce the chance of NASA have to track more psace debris from the springs and such being launched into orbit.
