Savage 110 30-06 stock?

I Have a save 110 30-06. its 100% stock. and im looking to get a new stock for it. I was looking at the Manners Savage 10 12 110 MCS T5A. is it worth the money for a stock barreled gun. i have always been told that savage is know for its barrels. any other sugestions. thanks
 
I have a 110 in 270 win that I put in a Boyds thumhole lam and I love it put pillars in it myself and she shoots just as good or better than it ever did. Savage have always been known for being shooters so its up to you
 
you might look at the bell and carlson alaskan II stock and i have a boyds prarie hunter on my savage 110 22-250 and it rocks.my 250 is a long action and the boyds fits like a glove.the B&C is alot lighter its ona 721.good luck with yer choice.
 
thanks for the info. I have herd alot of good things about the boyds. Im planing on getting one for my 243. just with the 06 having a little bit more recoil was thinking something a little heavier would be better. but I dont think you can really beat the boyds price.
 
go to richardsmicrofit.com they have good prices on the boyd stocks. they fit great and id rather have wood than sythetic, but thats me...and i cannt afford a mcmillan a5 either lol
