I'm looking at a savage 116 weather warrior. I'm a lefty. This meets my requirements of detachable magazine and synthetic stock.

Who has one and what do you like and dislike about it?

I had one in .204, several years ago...Sold it and wish I hadn't...One of the most accurate rifles I've shot that came right out of the box and needed no tweaking...

I have one in 338 Federal. Outshot my ruger in the same chambering. That being said, I like it, but it doesn't have the sturdy feel of the ruger. But for the money, an accurate gun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I have two Model 16 Weather Warriors...But mine have undergone some modifications. One is a 22-250 Rem., and one is a 204 Ruger. Both shot well from the factory. The only kick against them is they had pretty poor synthetic stocks on them. Mine are early models, with blind box magazines, not DBMs.

Both have B&C stocks on them now, and lighter trigger springs.

I have conversion parts, to switch either of these rifles to 6mm Rem., or 260 Rem., as well. Very versatile rifles, good triggers, and nicely accurate.
