Savage 16 mounts?

Have a new savage 16 300WSM with the stainless barrel. Bought the silver leupold VXII to put on it but having a hard time finding a good set of silver mounts/rings.

My question is....Does the savage 10/110 share the same mount as the 16/116?

I can find mounts all over for the model 10 but not sure if they are the same.

also wanting a two piece system as this rifle has a blind magazine so thinking a one peice would hinder loading/unloading.

Thanks for any help!!

Yes, the 10/110 and the 16/116 share the same mount. I
have the Leupold one piece mount, on three Savages(2 with
blind box magazines), and have no problems loading and
unloading the blind mags. Either the one piece, or the
two piece mounting system should work, I just prefer the
one piece for alignment reasons.

Thanks for the help! I am still pretty new to the savages as this is my first one. Won it in a raffle. One thing I noticed about some of the mounts I've see is they tend to hang over the rear of the action. I assume that being a short action, the rear is actually shorter. Hope I can find something to work out.

I have the same rifle & caliber. Mine is the " Weather Warrior"
Order a short action mount, I got the EGW. (Evolution gun Works)I also had Scott @ Savagegunsmithing do the accuracy package for me. Topped it with a 5-20x50 Swfa SS. Shoots awesome. Brubo

Never heard of DNZ mounts before...after checking them out online, these look prett sweet! Even though they are aluminum, they look pretty stout. Think I may go with the 4 screw rings (already had scope slip in properly torqued leupold rings) in a medium silver mount. Thanks alot!
