Can u explain this a little bit or post a link? Sorry I'm still somewhat new too modifying aspect of rifles still. And sorry if this whole post seems like a bunch of dumb Q and A on my part
Yep, just search for 'axis trigger' and you'll get a walkthrough. It's quick and easy. I spent $4-5 on a bunch of springs when I did mine, swapped them around until I found one I liked. More work than is required but it's what I felt like doing. The factory trigger weighs in on my scale at 18 billion pounds, but is pretty clean.
Mine is sitting at 3-4 pounds on one of my hunting rifles. It shoots as well as I can on any given day, which is pretty darn good some days.
And the stock flex fix is an answer in search of a problem imo. Unless I set the rifle across a pair of blocks and jump up and down on it, it won't flex enough to matter. And if it flexed 10" from the recoil of a .22lr and still had touching groups, I don't care. As long as it shoots well it can do whatever the [beeep] it wants
The mags HAVE to be inserted rear first. I've messed it up once or twice and a quick thump will seat it, but long term that will probably cause problems. Back first and the front clicks in easy.
IMO pretty only exists down range, what it looks like against my shoulder doesn't matter in the least. In that aspect the axis is very pretty indeed. The fact that I paid $209 for it is just gravy.
