Savage barrel nut torque spec???

Can someone tell me the torque spec for the barrel nut in a Savage rifle?

Snug it up is all you need. Doesn't need to be real tight at all.

I usually just bump the wrench with a ball peen hammer after all I can tighten with my bare hands.Don't hire the gorillas that Savage uses.

Savage torques to 75ft.lb. Hand tight has always been good for me.

I give it a quick smack w/my leather mallet, no problems doing that for 40rs.
