savage model 40 22 hornet

Has anybody shot the Savage model 40 22 hornet? I am trying to find out if the thumbhole stock version is heavier than the standard stock version. Also is the model 40 accurate?
 
I have this rifle and mine came with the thumbhole stock, I contacted Savage and they said it must have been a special order. I really like the rifle, it shoots very well. The thumbhole stock is great in my opinion, not too heavy either, I don't know how it compares to the standard stock.
 
I have the standard version, just saw some recent advertisments for the one with the thumbhole. It's my third hornet through the years and the most accurate. Darn good looking (for a savage that is /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif) May be looking to sell soon if interested.
