1. The guy donated money to Obama. That is a matter of public record and has been posted here.
2. He placed a damage control message on his company's website in which he falsely claimed to have made a single, Internet contribution to Obama, but public records prove he in fact made numerous contributions.
3. His damage control message claimed he has donated to McCain/PALIN, but there is no public record of such donations, so this claim is quite likely false.
4. While it is entirely possible that he may have been misquoted in the newspaper story, the public records don't lie: He HAS donated to Obama and, apparently, has NOT donated to McCain/PALIN as he claimed.
5. Wait for the "truth" to come out? The man has already been caught in several lies, as discussed above. Once a person is caught lying, in my view, they lose their credibility.
Claimbuster, no offense, but I'm not sure what additional "truth" there could be to know, especially since Cooper has been caught in deception, as proved via published public records.
What POSSIBLE reason, ie "truth", is there for a rifle manufacturer to donate to the likes of Obama? To do so is a slap in the face of all who value the 2d Amendment.
No, the outside-sourced facts speak for themselves.
This election is hardball: we're in a make or break struggle for our way of life. ONE Obama US Supreme Court justice appointment--replacing the likes of Kennedy or Scalia, God forbid should one get ill or retire--and you will wave goodbye to the 2d Amendment as it will become collective, NO LONGER INDIVIDUAL. It is THAT serious.
Cooper should have weighed all this before he opened his checkbook to Obama.
