Scat identification

I am working on a ranch in Iredell TX. Today I found this pile of scat. I see coyote and bobcat call all of the time but this looks a lot larger. I have heard rumors there are lions in this area occasionally but I haven’t seen any Sign personally.
Any thoughts?

I can't tell, but most lion and bobcat crap in a cubby, just like your cat at home. I don't see any scratch marks around it. I would be surprised if it's a lion.

To be good at determining the animal by examining its scat all you really need to do is taste it. If you care to know the approximate age or sex of the animal, you need to taste a little more. So, to be truly accurate at the task all depends on how much shit you can eat.

My vote; coyote scat. I'll also add that coyote's Norden Bomb Sight, is apparently malfunctioning. Not the most accurate grouping I've ever seen. lol!
