Want to get the best bang for the buck recommendations for a scope in stainless finish for a 17 remy. Will be using it mostly for coyotes and ground squirrels. Also, which powers would you recommend??
Thanks.

I am using a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40 on that same rifle/caliber and I really like it. My first Nikon and I have been impressed. I think I paid about $220 for the scope but have since seen it for much less and that always seems to happen. I do believe I have seen it advertised in stainless if that is what you want. It seems to be of very good quality in my opinion.

I would stay in the 4.5-14 range and Leupolds are my favorites. However, many on here have good luck with the others.

I have 3 x 9 Leupolds on all my varmint rifles except for my .17 AH which wears a 2 x 7 Leupold. I would recomand the a 3 x 9 Vari Xll Leupold, or if you didn`t want to spend quite that much a Vari Xl. It still has a Life time guarentee.

VMUTH,

Every one will have a pick and mine is Burris Fullfield II 3x9z40 or the 4.5x14x40 AO mounted in signature rings Also with lifetime warrenty.........less $$$ than leupold and I feel that the quality is a little better.

My seccond choice would be a leupold
