Scope mount for Beretta 686??

Oh, I hope not!

Actually, the current run I suppose, but I have an original, S686 Special, I bought it 24 years ago. I worked a whole year to afford it (I was 12) and bought it used on consignment in a shop.

My son will inherit it... WITHOUT scope mount marks!
 
Why do you want a scope on a over/under? If it's for coyote hunting with buckshot a set of fiber optic sights that clip to the rib should work fine. If this is for slugs and deer you will save money in the long run to get a cheap pump slug gun that is set up for optics. getting a set of custom bases mounted on the O/U will not be cheap.

It's not that far off base, in Europe you will find quite a few O/U and S/S that are set up for slugs or have a second set of barrels for slugs.
