You don't need the pointed bars, just use the lapping bar that is in kit. Can't get any truer!

I saw that the other day too and went ahead and ordered one. It shipped out yesterday so I should have it early next week.

I've stacked up feeler gauges and parallels when mounting on Picatinny rails. I don't do it regularly...
