Scorpion.....1 battery smoked

I was wondering if anyone experienced this with there units.

Quick story on how I discovered a issue......

I was showing off the Scorpion lastnight to a buddy, That had mentioned that there has been a Fox barking behind his house and givin his Great Dane half a heart attack and asked me to come over a take care of this problem, well literally 10sec into calling here she comes.......BANG !! Right off the Front deck 30yds away. Duel Rabbit had her going nuts, she ran over the caller 3x's before I could get a good bead on her.

Naturally my buddy was amazed at this all unfolding, he never experienced night hunting. So I begin to show off the Scorpion to him up close. I opened the top of the caller pulled out the battery pack and noticed that 1 of the batteries was toast, actually melted the housing a bit to the point you cannot read or see the battery direction drawing. I plan on replacing them ASAP. I'm pretty sure that I did not have on the charge for more than 12hrs at a time, but it is possible. These were the batteries that came from factory.

I recommend all fellow Scorpion owners pull the battery pack out from time to time to look for this.

Called FoxPro and it will be there today at Noon, they recommended that they take a peak to ensure that nothing is wrong.

"You paid a lot for this caller and we want to make sure it performs properly".

Hopefully it won't take long for it return, it's been less than a day and I already miss it.

Update on the situation.....

Well I recieved my Scorpion yesterday, the Tech's took a look at it and said it was only a BAD Battery. They replaced the battery pack and batteries. Said things are A-OK. New batteries are holding correct charge with no heat during charging.

Thanks FoxPro for the help and ensuring the Scorpion is ready to roll in the field.
