scorpion 1xb picking one up

well i could not hold out any longer. so i pulled the trigger on the new scorpion 1xb. i thought it would work great due to its portability. just not sure how loud it is. im going to pick up a sp-55 just in case i need it. i was going to use it for bobcats, bear and yotes. most people i see said they really did not need the extra speaker. thought about getting the firestorm. but this unit seemed to be easier to do with a walk in hunt. were some times you have to cover alot of ground. just not sure what sounds to put on it. have some ideas. this is my first electronic call. boy im excited to try this thing.let me know what sounds to put on it. sure could use some help. thanks

If you order from foxpro(1-717-248-2507) or allpredatorcalls.com .(1-888-826-9683) they will help you pick out the calls that will work for you and your area. I have delt with both and they are awsome.

smd, if you will concentrate on the sounds contained in the Mark II Sound Library, you can't go wrong. Please be sure to pick out the 16 bit sounds. Pick a variety of the coyote vocals including coyote pup distress 1 and coyote pup distress 2, Coyote Death Cry, Interrogational Howl, Challenge Howl, Coyote Locator, Female Invitational Howl, and maybe Female Estrus if it is available in 16 bit (I'm not sure just going by memory, and I just got out of the hospital and don't feel up to researching them right now. In addition, get Lucky Bird, Raspy Woodpecker, Sceamin' Gray Fox, Red Fox pup distress, Groundhog distress, Vole Squeaks, Raccoon & cottontail, Coyote & Fox Fight, Bobcat in heat, Aggressive Bobcat, Chicken Distress--- I think you'll get the idea from that start. As Stump49 suggested, AP Jones or Foxpro will personally help you and make sure you get the sounds you want and need in your neck of the woods.

Good hunting at ya! Give me a week or so to recuperate more and I can help you some more if you want.

All of our Mark II sounds are available in 24 and 16 bit. Our regular sound library is strictly 16 bit. Hope this helps!

Need to order battery charger and speaker for my scorpion 1B. Like it much better tan older one. Like the Remote much better. Getting more sound's also. Need a card Reeder that works in my computer. Then I can use it to down load my cougar sound's. Have a cougar permit for the blue mountain's. That is why I got a scorpion for traveling lite.
