Scorpion Batteries?????

I've heard that the batteries in a Scorpion should be removed whenever it's not in use to keep it from taking your batteries into a deep discharge and ruining them. Supposedly it has something to do with the remote on feature which sounded reasonable to me. My question is do you guys pull your batteries completely out or just unplug the battery holder and leave them in the holder?

I just unplug to keep the load off the circuts.

Yes I remove mine also. Foxpro says its a good idea to remove them.

The reason I remove mine is if a battery should rupture the acid would reck the board. If you are not using your caller for a long time remove the batteries and be safe.

If I'm not going to use it for a few days I just take one battery out of the holder. Easier than unpluging the holder.
