In 15,600 posts you have never gave an opinion on something that didn't pass the smell test? This happens everyday on this site and others, If this opinion without valid experience and a witness is a new thing, I hope it's applied equally to the other forums here as well.

The OP brought up the coyote specialist thing in his first post. I suppose as some attempt to validate the Scorpion scope as "The Coyote Specialists" make videos and sell them for profit, which they most likely have plugged the scope in the video in exchange for money and product. I thought it was important to point out the fact that their endorsement is probably nothing more than paid advertising, nothing to be ashamed of.

Furhunter....To the best of my recollection, I've very seldom, if ever, expressed an opinion on some piece of equipment in which I've not had some hands on experience, or personally observed its function at the hands of someone else...Such as equipment used in action competitions by another competitor...If you find some, please refresh my memory...I have, on occasion. been asked my opinion and I always preface my response with lack of personal knowledge, but that is usually by means of a PM...

We have fairly new members asking valid questions, or seeking information (the initial purpose of this forum) and the results usually involve so called experts posting opinions without any personal experience and IMHO, that's rude...

Political opinions are another matter....

I've no dog in this fight cuz I like both of you guys, but I wholeheartedly agree with the above. And my sig. line reflects just that. It's really easy for me (and others)to tell who is talking from experience, and who is just talking. But if you took the time to call out every single person who was obviously talking out their a$$, you'd never have time to get up off of your own.......

thank you and i do have a scorpion scope on the way so i will let ya know how it works out

OldTurtle,
This could have been handled in PM and if asked I would have even removed my one and only really off color post but since you've decided to drag this out in pubic view I'll just stick with my last response. Going forward, I will be looking for you to apply the same standards to rudeness in the other forums that you've shown me.

Here is some information so everybody can now say they have heard of them.

My opinion: I've never used them, but they are probably better than anything I use.

My other opinion, I think it's ridiculous to think that people cannot have coyote killing credentials and respect of peers without a $2000 scope on a $5000 rifle.

I have a scorpion scope on my remington 700 in 300 win mag and the scope will hold zero but the tracking on the scope is horrible. Has great glass. Its good for hunting not tactical though. Im upgrading my scope to the nightforce nsx 5-20×50 and redical im not sure yet havent chose it yet
