selling fur?

in pennsylvania we dont have to have to have anything except for bobcats. we used to have to get beavers tagged but they did away with that a couple years ago.
i dont know about kentucky but normally foxes, coyotes, etc. dont need to be tagged

You really have to check with your own states DOW.
Here in Colorado you need a small game lic to shoot coyotes, fox, etc.
You need a trapping lic to trap them.
The fur buyer will ask to see your lic. My guy writes lic # on the receipt.
Bobcats are the only thing I'm after that require tagging.
You state laws may vary.
Not much help to you other than to say you really need to check locally.

Getfoxy, You need to contact your state trapping/furharvesters organization. Matter of fact, you should join. I looked them up, they are 'United trappers of Ky'. The presidents name is Stephen Pickard. Phone # is 606-528-2726. He should be able to direct you in the right direction.

You are not looking to hard. It is in the Hunting and trapping guide you can get at Wal Mart or any place that sells license. Here it is online.
