Semi auto or revolver in 22lr?

How do you like the mark IV quick release for cleaning ? That would sell me, right there..

It's a snap, easy peasy. I don't have much trouble pulling the MK Ruger guns apart, however it does seem to vex some folks. When I bought my LITE version there were MK III & IV guns available. I bought a MK IV to see what the fuss was about. Gotta say, it's an improvement. Super simple...

On topic, either I would use the LITE pistol for his purposes or I would use my old S&W M63. In fact, a long time ago I did use my M63 for exactly those purposes. Occasionally a Ruger MK I went for a hike, but mostly the Kit Gun.

i agree, pulling my MKIII apart isnt usually too bad, but sometimes going back together is the PITA. the first time i took it apart i wanted to throw it into a wood chipper before i was done.

Does anyone have any lengthy experience with the S&W Victory semi-auto pistol?

I have a stainless one and I like the feel of it a lot and the very visible sights are excellent, but I haven't shot it a great deal. The one I have is also threaded for a suppressor. I understand that they have some plastic internal parts so I'm wondering how they might hold up to extensive shooting.

A picture of my threaded pistol. They don't seem to show the threaded model at the link any longer.
