Sentry or Cannon fire proof gun safes

Saw a Sentry 36 gun safe on clearance. Wondering if anyone has any opinions on them.

I also see Cannon's are in about the same price ranges.

What can anyone tell me about them?

I got a Cannon Scout 35 about a year ago. Like it real well so far. Think I paid around $1000. Don't know bout the Sentry's.

I have a centurion. I got it al Lowes. I paid 735 for it because it was dented. My suggestion would be go someplace and tip one over lol.

Don't know what reviews the Sentry's are getting these days, but the Cannons have always been praised so far as I've seen. Best price I've seen to get a Cannon is at Tractor Supply - you can get a a big safe there for $1000-$1200 in a basic flat paint scheme - less on sale or scratch and dent. I'm not one to pay more for pretty, but if the color is an issue, get some Rustoleum to your liking and have at it to match any decor.

Cannon makes a pretty good safe for the money.

I don't know anything about those safes, but here is a video with a bit of information that might give some ideas of things to look at.

Well, I ended up getting the Sentry. Academy had them clearanced for $699.

The cheapest I could find on an internet search for this model was $1000 and as high as $1500
