set triggers

I own a 700 ...... and a CZ and like them both.

I own a 788 with a Canjar single set.

I would not place the CZ ahead of a built 700.

I like my CZ set trigger ...... but really like the Canjar on my 788.

I have four Rifle Basix and one Timney trigger on Rem 700's. The breaks on these triggers are excellent. No complaints with either one. Rifle Basix does make triggers with four different pull weights for the 700. I don't remember all of the pull weight ranges for each of the four trigger models, but I bought one that I could set at 16 ounces, and the rest are in the 2 1/2 to 3 pound pull range. Breaks are great with all of the ones I have.

Martyn, the Rifle Basics triggers are very good and you can get them at a couple oz's. Jewell does make the cream of the crop but I think the RB's are catching up

I'd put a jewell on it. They are awfully tough to beat for what you are looking for. Haven't had a chance to try a RB yet, I hear alot of good things about them lately.
