shipping ammunition through post office?

I did a trade deal with a guy 10 years or so ago. When the box showed up in my mailbox I started looking for the G-Men. It had pyrodex pellets, 777 pellets and 209 primers in it. I had no idea he was shipping USPS.

just like shipping items that involve HAZMAT. if you're not licensed, its an absolutely expensive no-no.

IIRC shipping HAZMAT without that licensing and certification that goes with it something to the tune of $50-$75k and can go upwards of $175k if there is property damage, injury or death involved because of the negligence.
