shipping ammunition via UPS

Unless I am mistaken, it is a federal law that it must be.

I had to also bring the boxed ammo to a UPS staffed service counter. There may be other options, but they steered me to a UPS sevice center.

Yes, it must be.

Also true...the UPS STORE won't touch the stuff. Must go to a hub.

Just like the Post Office, it's often the case where an individual worker doesn't know the rules. I had to explain them to a Postal worker once when I was shipping a long gun.

Yea those UPS Stores are worthless, the one here wouldnt even take a barrel. Which was nothing more than a pipe. wasnt even chambered just a blank. They also charge more than the main hubs do for the same box. I'll never walk into one again.

Theres also something about UPS changing the ORM D regulation. Its a different sticker now. The Hub will also better advise on that.

I once took a scope to the ups store, the guy asked what it was so I told him. He said we can't send rifle scopes through here so lets just say its a telescope. I said good enough.
