Shockwave & CS24C priced the same?????

LONEHOWL, I do believe you have it right. You buy the CS-24C for $599.95 and love it. You would even buy another one if something happened to the ones you now own. Another guy likes the Shockwave better for $599.95 so he buys it. If a Fusion meets your needs better, you can buy it for $499.95. All three models feature the TX-1000 remote.

If you think the Shockwave is a better deal at the same price as the CS-24C, you feel like you are getting a better deal. Has nothing to do with the guy that prefers the form factor of the CS-24C. Considering that FoxPro continues to sell a lot of CS-24C's, looks like they were smart at pricing it the same as the Shockwave. Maybe the Shockwave should have been priced higher.

You are correct mark. In the end it is our personal choice. It is Foxpros right to charge what they want. However, for me as a consumer I want the most for my dollar. For me personally I just feel the cs24 is well overpriced for what it is. For you it is worth it and that's great. Definitely nice to have choices

Only you would suggest the Shockwave should cost more!!! Smh

Now hammer, I said "Maybe". If it was priced higher, it would eliminate your arguing that the CS-24C is too high. You bought a Banshee, so evidently it suited your needs, and I think you have posted how much you like it. I am glad you do.

If you read the specs, you'll see that it is an entirely different ecaller. It uses the same TX1000 remote but it has a much bigger and more powerful amplifier, a 30W speaker, and is powered by 24V. It is insanely loud and clear, just what some people want. The great crow hunter, Bob Aronsohn uses one with an extra 30W speaker. He has to be able to call crows from the next zip code.

Yep. If you have read the specs and ran one you know the K2 is all of that and more!

I have owned and run a lot of different E-Callers. All most all the FPs and WTs including all the FPs that utilize the TX 1000.

My favorite E-Caller of all time is the Foxpro CS 24C! But that doesn't change the fact that when components, assembly and R&D are taken into account the CS 24C is overpriced when compared to the rest of FP's extensive, high quality line up. Fact is Foxpro has been very very busy providing an E-Caller that will call in game at every price point. Most every E-Caller they come out with is a better value than the one before.

But that CS 24C price sticks out like a sore thumb.

When another caller comes out that suites my needs better I will be all over it, FP or not. Certainly not because I am mad or loyal to/at FP or any brand.

Only in America Brother!

I was going to post, but this post says it all IMO. My sentiments exactly.

I've been up in the air about getting a CS24C for this same reasons mentioned. I can't help but think that it should cost less, personally.

Absolutely it should. Sucks because I love the sp60 caller size and sound.
