I was looking at the DOG GONE GOOD shooting bags and pretty sure I want one for at the bench and in the field? Whats your experience with the product? What about the deadshot rest same Idea but with a way smaller price tag only $20 CAD and the Dog Gone Good one would run me $100 CAD+ shipping. So is it worth the extra cash?

Thanks, Scott

I've used the Dog Gone Good bags for many years and am convinced they are the best in the industry. I write for Varmint Hunter Magazine and having great bags on shoots is important.

Great product, great people and great service.

Agree with Steve 100%.

Don and his wife make an outsanding product, at a fair price, and stand behind their product.

What more could you ask for?

In my humble oppenion, there aint no sand bag worth $20 let alone $ 100. I use shot bags filled with sand and they work as well as any thing on the market. I don`t use sand bags in the field, I use a by-pod, but old shot bags are the way to go, save your money for more ammo.

I think Randy has approached them about picking up their line of bags, and putting our logo on them.
They do work extremely well. -MP

For benchrest shooting, an "x" or "v" shaped bag is the way to go. Just a regular bag filled with sand isn't going to cut it IMHO. These provide you with a locked position for your barrel and also provide cushioning. The Dog Gone bags are an excellent product and you won't go wrong in purchasing one.

Apples and oranges for me. Where bags shine, I've no use for a bipod. In the few circumstances where I find bipods useful, I've no use for bags.
