Shooting sticks or bipod? What brands?

Sorry just had to add another $.02 what Lonnie said is valid and I am contimplateing try a monopod myself homemade of course just to see if I like it or not, The one draw back I have already found is I like to prop the rifle on the sticks while working the call or remote and wonder how this works while useing a monopod?

The last picture in the post with the practice arrows. Not a bad idea! That would work better having a brace on top rather than having them cross into an X.

Well I tried playing with a monopod just to see what the trade offs are,
More steady then off hand but not as steady as stix or bipod.
Depending how mono is deployed its infanitely more adjustable.
What I used is a adjustable aluminum walking stick/staff a broom handle would be about the same dia.
The way I used it was to grasp the staff in my left hand and useing the index finger and thumb to make a C shape and use the other fingers to grasp the mono.
To deploy I laid rifle across my lap and then laid the mono over the rifle forearm at the appx junction of what I would use when shouldered simply reach down and grasp the rifle and mono allowing the mono to pivot under the rifle and slide hand up or down the mono to adjust height. Clear as mud right

Lol, I am somewhat flexable so perhaps thats why Im more comfortable scrounching down behind my knee...
Yea, the crazy creek chair is just two simple pads with the two straps on either side. I love the thing, when you lean back in it the chair kinda pulls up on your legs so it is easy/comfortable to sitback and quickly "roll" forward/up or backward/down.
I believe Primos markets some sort of similiar idea too- the barko lounger or something like that.
And just for grins here is a picture I took recentely, you can kinda see how I balance my rifle on the shooting stix. I use the small bipod to help keep the stix stay put.
