Well, I am back from the shot show, about 6" shorter as my feet are wore down to the ankles.
To say that the show is overwhelming is a serious understatement. It is just unbelievable. Every manufacturer of anything to do with shooting, hunting, camping etc. was there. The Las Vegas convention center is huge with two gigantic halls and it overflowed them and had more exhibits in a giant tent in the parking lot. The aisles up and down between the vendors were about 20 miles long.
The vendors spend a lot of money to attend. I was talking to a girl at the Leica booth which was about 20 by 30 feet and she said it was a $100,000 show for them. I was surprised to see that some of the biggest displays were camo clothing makers. The Realtree display may have been the largest of any display, if not it must be tied for first place.
