Shotgun barrel length?

I know on turkey guns the barrel does help . I had a Benelli M1 Super 90 camo 21 inch barrel with the forcing cone cut out and a custom .650 choke . And a guy had the same gun with the same stuff mine had. But his had a 24 inch barrel. The 24inch barrel out pattern my 21 inch barrel with Hevi Shot Turkey loads. Now i have a 24 inch barrel i have seen it done. SO i know barrel length helps on turkey guns when you want to get one that will pattern GOOD. VM
 
Thanks for the help. I guess I will leave it as is, until I get a chance to hunt with it. Thant seems the best way to figure out what I need.
 
Hi MH WASH copy or draw you a pic. of a coyote. And put it at 35 yrds try as many diffence shells to which one puts the most pellets in a kill zone of a coyote . Then go from there. Good Luck VM
