Shotgun or .22

What is better, a .22 or a 12 guage? Which has the maximum effective range? Which will preserve the pelt best? Please give your opinions. Thanks!

If you are talking about a .22 lr or a 12 gauge, I would definately say 12 gauge. 3inch or 3 1/2inch. A 3 1/2 inch will take coyotes 40 yards or more depending on what shot you use. You will find that a topic on .22 lr for coyotes will cause quite a stir. Just not enough gun. I know because when I first started calling that is what I used and had several get away. One coyote was shot at 20 yards. The 12 gauge will be your best bet hands down. There are alot of .22 centerfires that will work great. .223,22-250.........We use BB shot, but that is kinda like asking what .22 centerfire is the best. Everyone has their favorite. but most work well from #4 and up.

Heroin then the Asprin. Try not to take too many Asprins, heard they are bad for the liver.
