What kind/type,etc. slings do you find useful for pump shotguns?

You can find some sling swivel kits for more popular brands. Otherwise they make a sling that loops around the barrel and stock.

That's exactly what I did. Easy and works great. I like the Butler Creek Stretch slings.

Urban ERT works on everything. They make lots of adapters to fit the need. I use one on a 870 and on a FN SLP MK I.

If you buy as a kit you save a little money so I originally bought the kit for an AR and then added the extras I needed for other firearms.

All of my adapters and slings from them have held up to the abuse I put them through (3 gun, personal protection training, coyote hunting).

Here's a link to the first kit I bought, but it comes with a plate that I doubt you need. Really for the most part you are just picking what kit you want.

I like the Extended UNIVERSAL POSITIVE RETENTION WRAP for the stock side of my shotguns.

For the front of the 870 you can do a rail with sling adapter or just do the sling adapter to tube.
