There's no doubt that sometimes a decoy seems to draw a predator's attention and perhaps aid in making a kill. I've seen it myself.
There's also no doubt that sometimes predators will approach an e-call and stick their nose right into the speaker. Or bite it. Without a decoy. I've seen that too.
Whether or not a decoy entices predators for a kill that otherwise would not be killed is debatable. Maybe that coyote paused to look at the decoy, but he woulda come in anyways without the decoy.
We see a lot of videos with decoys, but remember that many of those guys have sponsors or are pro staff or trying to make $$. I take the opinions and methods of salesmen with a grain of salt.
