I thought I'd give a quick shout out for Possum Hollow Products, Inc..
I recently purchased a S&W M&P 15-22 and was in need of a bore guide. I looked online and couldn't find anyone that offered one, so I reached out to Eric at Possum Hollow. I'd previously purchased a bore guide from them for a Savage MK II and was very happy with the product and service. Anyway, Eric and I spoke on the phone and he said that the ejector on my 15-22 would cause a problem with fabricating a standard, chamber-end bore guide, not to mention it would likely damage a coated cleaning rod. So he offered to make a muzzle-end bore guide. All I had to do was measure the muzzle diameter and send it his way.
So I sent him the muzzle diameter measurement and a few weeks later I received an email letting me know my bore guide was in the mail. Less than a week later a package arrives with two different bore guides. One was a bit too tight to fit over the muzzle, but the second one fit like a glove. I want to point out that no money had been exchanged at this stage of the transaction. Eric wanted to ensure he delivered a quality, working product before he asked for payment.
So now that I have a working bore guide, I follow-up with him to let him know that one of the two worked and that I was a happy camper. I also wanted to get his payment in the mail, but couldn't recall the exact price we discussed initially over the phone. Anyway, his response is that I owe him NOTHING. He was simply happy to help me out, and now he has the necessary info about this firearm that he can offer this as a standard product.
Just another great company keeping loyal customers loyal (and happy). If you are in need of any cleaning and reloading stuff, I'd highly recommend you consider giving them your business.
