got the high mast tower together and up today.
we came we saw we kicked butt.
then found out they put my mom back in the hospital. she had surgery for a blockage three weeks ago and now they may have to take a addional two feet of intestine out.
i don't know wheather to go up there or not i'd like to be there and here i got a busy weekend with everyone from PM coming threw town this weekend and elk hunting then i'd hate for her to catch something from me too.
 
Casey, Claimbuster and I got sidetracked and won't be up this weekend. I hope that helps take some of the pressure off you. You seem to have had more than your share of that lately. Get your bull, visit Mom, and try to get some rest. We'll be up to see you when things slow down a little bit. That way you can spend a little hunting time with us.
 
OH MAN i though you made it because it rained last night.
i'd like hunting with you guys i'll start saveing for more bullits this time i'll load some up so i don't have just the 22lr.
hope todays the day for the bull to fall i don't think i can run threw the mountains as far and fast as we did yesterday. loved ever minite of it but paying for it today.
 
The steroid was probably to alleviate the swelling and to stop the pleural effusion he was having (the bad pain in the lower lung area from the swelling lung rubbing the ribcage and diaphragm commonly called pleurisy) as well as helping to mask the pain he was feeling..

More than likely the steroid was prednisone. Could have been solumedrol as well. Both of them are to stop allergic reactions (such as the allergies he was having) as well.

A short round of it like he was issued would not have the dire effects that go along with long term usage.

My wife took it for about 5 years for lupus along with immune system repression drugs (chemo drugs)..

It must be weened down from the higher dosage through tapering the amount taken each time as it can cause serious health problems if one quits it cold turkey.

It took Sandra (my wife) 3 months to ween off of it..

Casey.. Get well soon and do what the doctors are telling you to do and that is rest..

The work will get done but, if you push it, you may very well have a bunch of guys looking for another job if you know what I mean?????

And I would trust your doctor with my own life and believe me that is saying a lot. He did everything right by the book..James L.
 
yes its prednisone i'm down to the two in the morn and two at night so i'm getting there.
the antibiodic is doxycline.
i'm feeling better but have a sore throught now and the cough.
i'm eating like a horse scence i stopped smoking.
thought i was going to starve to death by 7:30 am today and i haven't ate breakfest in 20 yrs
i'm 6'2" and 160 lbs so it wont hurt me to gain some wait
