I bought a Sightmark Wraith that I finally took out in the cold last winter. I walked about 1/4 mile in probably 10 degrees F. By the time I got to my stand and set up to call, the Wraith had enough power to turn on, then went dead. The 4 AA batts were fine, but I assume it was just too cold for the electronics in the scope. Im planning to buy a different night scope after this, hopefully thermal. Has anyone else had this happen with other brands of night vision or thermal? I just don't want to spend a bunch of money on something that will give me the same problem as most of my calling will be in the cold.
