Sightmark Wraith 4K max thoughts?

I have the sightmark wraith hd (original model) and now have the wraith 4K. The newer version definitely has some more user friendly features. I like the video record function having it’s own separate button, and really like the new rotation knob on top for quick magnification changes. Daytime I will say it is clearly better than the original due to a little lower native magnification and the display image is less pixelated as you go up in magnification. With that being said, I’m not sure that it’s any improvement over the original wraith hd 4x32 at night. The 4K is more sensitive to light and any closer grass or rise reflecting ir back to the scope causes it’s sensor to adjust to the point you can’t see beyond at what your aiming at. The older wraith did this too but to a much less extent. Also my sniper hog coyote cannon on full spot beam perfectly filled the field of view for the wraith hd at native 4x. This is not the case with the wraith 4K. Full spot with the cannon only lights up the middle of the field of view with blackness all around the perimeter of the view. Also when the coyote cannon is on full spot it basically whites out the area that is illuminated (too intense). I’m going to have to play with it and see what the best settings are with the illuminator that I have. I’m hunting rolling, open, short grass fields. There is very little info out there on this 4K to date. Does anyone have any similar experiences or suggestions for getting the most out of this scope “at night”?
