Sightmark wraith or ATN 4K pro?

Maybe this has been covered before, but I could not find anything so please forgive my ignorance if so. I’m looking at picking up a “cheap” day/night hunting scope that may be used a couple times a year. I’m looking at the two listed above. Can anyone with experience with either chime in. I’m curious about overall build, clearness, range, battery life etc between the two. Thanks greatly!
 
Buddy of mine had both. Ended up keeping the Wraith and selling the atn. He liked that the Wraith has the ability to use AA batteries and didn't have an internal battery.

The Wraith is also significantly lighter which he really appreciated. All in all he gave the win to the Wraith.

Btw, he has/ had the HD model and the 4k pro for the atn

i've had 2 photon rt's and an atn 4k pro 3x14 .. as far as night time distance and clarity goes theres not much difference between the 3 .. i currently have a sightmark wraith 4k max 3x24 .. the night time distance is pretty much the same as the other 3 but the clarity is far superior .. you can easily see a coyote standing in corn stalks 200+ yards out .. when zooming theres not much pixalation all the way out to 24 power and at that level of zoom you still have a usable picture to work with .. i have the wraith paired with an 850nm coyote cannon that provides a bright clear picture 400+ yards out .. i hope this information helps with your decision ..
 
Have a 4K pro on my "loaner gun". It is heavy but works. Battery life is quite good. Killed quite a few coyotes with it and gave me the upper hand around the property as I was over-run to say the least...broken arrow type over-run. The 4K was a game changer but it was my first NV optic.

Mine crapped out a couple of months after the warranty expired so I sent it into ATN CS to check if it could be fixed. They got back with me about a month or two later and said it was toast but offered me a new one for $200 or $300 (cant remember) but I went ahead and got a new one. Seems like the whole thing took 3 months which is pretty bad IMO.

Best part of it is that it pushed me to get a Super Hogster so that sits on my main night time hunting gun.

If I was starting over I'd probably go with the Wraith if I had to choose between the two.

I have a Photon RT and use Pulsars DNV rechargeable battery pack, can the Wraith use this rechargeable pack?

Darn...the pack works great in my Photon.
