I ran across a brand of scope I'm not familiar with but liked the features and price. It's a Sightmark 10-40x56 Triple Duty scope. Anyone with experience with these scopes and their clarity and durability?
I bought a rifle from a guy I work with and it came with a Sightmark already on it and I don't care for it personally. This one is the 8.5-25 and pass 8.5 the clarity was not good. Again this was just my experience some other people may like them.
Maybe I should stick with known and familiar names such as Leopold, Weaver, Bushnell and Redfield. These were the work horses of the past and I assume still are today. I can't...or won't, dish out in excess of $2K for a Nightforce or March.
Think I'll stick with Leopold...maybe their VX-2 Target scope 6-20X. If I had unlimited funds I'd go with a March. On second thought, I don't think I'd pay for a scope that's as much as some cars I've owned.
