Got my STAC back and they cleaned it and fixed my focus, kept in contact the whole time, same guy from start to finish, nice gent to work with and the scope is good as new. The only downside was they get a good Christmas- new year break and it took about a month.

They did include a 2018 catalog and have a sweet new STAC! I’ll have to go look at specs again but it was 2-19 or something crazy useful

Oh, yup. That one and 4.5-24 which has a bit high of a low end but not too bad

The 2.5-17 has been out for a long time. It was their first in the S-Tac line...and is a helluva scope.

I noticed that. I just saw it for the first time. Wish I had seen it when I got my 3-16 though the 3-16 is quite perfect for calling.

The 2.5-17 is about 3x the cost of the 3-16....its a completely and totally different optic. I am not sure why SIghtron felt the need to use the same model name for them...it would be like Leupold selling a VX-1 and VX-3, and calling them the same thing.
