Can't speak for ALL of the Simmons line, but 4 years ago (and about 10 thousand rds. later )I put a 6.5-20x50 Whitetail Simmons, on my Bushmaster .223 Varmint, and the performance has been flawless.I bought it for $99.00, I think Natchez has them on sale for $200.00. On the other hand--I once bought a new 336 Marlin that had a 3-9x40 Simmons on it--lasted 3 shots.Sometimes you're the windshield--sometimes you're the bug.

I had and sent it back to Cabelas after looking through it. Don't waste your time and money on one. As mentioned above I have a Mueler on a .22 ruger and for the money it is really clear and so far holds zero.
